Privacy policy for Friendo

Friendo is the data controller for the processing of your personal data when you use the Friendo platform (the app and the website).

Identity data

Name, Address, Phone number, Email address, Driving licence number

User and account data

Login details, Reservation history, Rental history, Support enquiries

Payment data

Payment ID and transaction details (Card details are handled solely by a certified payment provider)

Vehicle data

The car’s registration number

Location data

Trailer position at pick-up and return, GPS data during an active reservation

Damage and incident data

Damage reports, Photos uploaded by users, Details of incidents during the rental

Technical information

IP address, Device type, App logs and error reports

As a rule, data is processed within the EU/EEA. Some providers, such as Vercel and Stripe, are American or have group companies in the USA. Transfers outside the EU/EEA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
